Trading Discipline: an engine that enforces your own trading rules.

It never tells you what to trade. It only limits how you trade next, and every block shows the exact rule and when it lifts.

The problem

Traders lose money less from bad analysis than from broken discipline: ignored stops, oversized positions and revenge trades. Journals record these mistakes but don't stop them happening again.

How it's built

  • Diagnoses each closed trade into one primary mistake: stop ignored, oversized, revenge, overtrading, no plan or emotional entry.
  • A fixed severity order picks the primary mistake, and every rule's result is shown, so nothing is a black box.
  • A cumulative lockout ladder escalates from one day to longer blocks as mistakes repeat.
  • TypeScript rule engine and Express API on Postgres.
  • Expo mobile app plus a browser extension, so the rules apply where the trading happens.

What shipped

Backend engine, mobile app and browser extension, with Docker setup and a deployment guide.

Clean handoff

Every rule is documented and transparent, so traders and coaches can see exactly why a block was applied.
